We are looking for a Designers with experience in 3D Modeling and Wayfinding for a client of ours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and participate in research/benchmarking for Lead and employ best practices

• Actively participate in client reviews and work sessions

• Develop design to incorporate methodology and programming

• Mentoring junior designers and interns

• Review work of junior designers and interns

• Direct work of junior designers and interns

• Create templates for Mapping (arch, evac, orientation) Visualization (sketch, photo rendering, 3D modeling)

• Lead prep for and lead internal design conversations and critiques

• Create conceptual design concepts

• Develop and systematize selected conceptual design

• Maintain current knowledge of materials and material specifications.

• Make material selections and applications across design concepts

• Coordinate programming needs with design solutions Iterate studies to evaluate conceptual design with functional needs of the system

• Develop detail drawings and create detail studies and sketches

• Develop design intent documentation and details

• Prepare all documentation submittals

• Maintain knowledge of project

• Further develop job knowledge across studio disciplines

• Prepare submittals and presentation Assist the Project Manager throughout the bid and construction administration process

• Coordinate with fabricator and review submittals for adherence to design intent

• Document meeting minutes

• Understand project scope and time allocations for projects

• Direct client contact & develop client relationships

• Lead internal meetings

• Demonstrate studio/team leadership

• Manage Planning Team, Design Team, Project Manager, and Studio Director expectations

• Collaborate and interface with project stakeholders and partners

• Advanced Hand skills = drawing, model building
