Role/Title: Graphic Designer
Freelance: 20-40 hours a week/on-going as needed
Rate: $40-50/hourly
Remote (Must be located in the Greater Philadelphia Area to be on-site for occasional meetings.)

Clutch is looking for a Graphic Designer for a freelance position with a client of ours.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, etc.) to understand project goals, target audience, and brand guidelines.
• Develop creative concepts and translate brand strategy into visually engaging designs for a variety of applications (print, digital, social media, packaging).
• Utilize strong design principles, typography, and layout techniques to create clear, effective, and on-brand communication pieces.
• Execute high-quality graphic design using industry-standard software (Adobe Creative Suite essential). Experience with specific design software relevant to our industry is a plus.
• Maintain brand consistency across all design projects.
• Prepare design mockups and presentations for internal team review and client approval (if applicable).
• Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs to achieve final approval.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
• (For Senior Level) Potentially provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers.
• Stay up-to-date on design trends and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience (Mid-Level) or 5 years of experience (Senior Level) as a Graphic Designer.
• Proven ability to develop creative concepts and translate them into impactful designs, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful projects.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential. Experience with additional design software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality and visually appealing design work.
