Job Title: Senior Account Associate - North America Wholesale / New York, NY

Primary Purpose: The Senior Account Associate is responsible for supporting the Sales Director with wholesale account management. The ideal candidate will quickly gain a good understanding of the business needs and be relied upon to drive sales/shipment within their account portfolio and maintain an optimal relationship with their buying partners. The Sr. Account Associate is organized, has strong attention to detail and takes initiative. This individual should have strong analytical acumen. They will be relied upon to build relationships internally and externally.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency as a Senior Account Associate to...

Drive the business:

    • Manage full-price department store accounts, plus specialty and military.
    • Establish strong relationships with external buying teams through exceptional communication.
    • Support the achievement of sales goals, with a proactive approach in making recommendations, identifying in-season opportunities, and analyzing/reacting to sales data and product performance.
    • Responsible for all market week planning and logistics, including appointment scheduling, product information and updated account summaries.
    • Lead showroom presentations and partner with buyers to create compelling product assortments.
    • Effectively communicate business strategies both internally/externally. Liaising with cross-functional partners to implement these strategies.
    • Partner with marketing to communicate seasonal brand messaging to accounts.
    • Strong knowledge of marketplace trends and competitor activities.

Customer Service/Operations:

    • Ownership of all day-to-day coordination, operational follow up and account communication.
    • Responsible for order management execution, monitoring, and tracking results.
    • Align orders with allocations and confirm accuracy and timely receipt.
    • Work closely with customer service team to communicate any extensions, shipping, or pricing issues with accounts.
    • Actively manage account’s OTB, identifying opportunities/risks.
    • Regularly monitor and ensure accuracy and proper visibility of on-line assortments, including dropship.
    • Manage weekly ATS file and distribution.
    • Sample coordination.

The accomplished individual will possess...

    • Account Management/planning background.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft programs to include Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Advanced excel skills including formulas, v-look up/pivot tables.
    • Basic understanding of retail math, including open to buy.
    • Detail orientated with superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
    • Ability to take initiative to complete tasks quickly and efficiently.
    • Attitude of accountability and self-motivation.

An outstanding professional will have...

    • 2-3 years of buying or account management and/or relevant experience.
