Job Summary

As an Events Manager at our esteemed organization, you will be instrumental in driving client acquisition and business development. Working closely with the Private Events Director, your focus will be on enhancing our sales strategies, fostering new client relationships, and ensuring the seamless execution of events. Your role is pivotal in achieving our annual sales goals through innovative marketing and exceptional client engagement.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Client Acquisition and Relationship Building: Actively engage in selling private functions, including client meetings to identify needs and surpass expectations. Your goal is to transform prospects into loyal clients through excellent communication and service.

Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the Events Sales Director in creating compelling marketing materials to showcase our private events. Your creativity will be key in developing strategies to attract new clients.

Social Media Management: Take charge of managing our private event social media posts, ensuring our online presence is vibrant, engaging, and aligns with our brand values.

Reporting and Analysis: Handle daily and weekly reports, maintaining accuracy and offering insights into client preferences and market trends.

Service Excellence: Guarantee that all services provided to Club Members and their guests meet our high standards of excellence.

Professional Standards: Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor, and ensure the same standards are maintained by all private event personnel.

Training and Development: Engage in ongoing training with the aim of progressing to the role of Private Event Director within our organization.

About You

  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years in a similar role, with a proven track record in marketing and driving revenue through events.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication abilities and a collaborative spirit. Creative, energetic, with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Sales Acumen: Experience in sales, preferably in catering and private event functions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Practical knowledge of food preparation, etiquette, and service standards, particularly in private events.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with modern digital marketing tools.
