The Administrative Assistant I position provides administrative duties by answering telephone inquiries, sending and receiving e-mail messages, distributing information, facilitating requests for computer security access, coordinating meetings and appointments, ordering supplies, receiving deliveries, greeting and screening visitors for entry into secured areas, performing data entry, maintaining databases and filing systems.
The Administrative Assistant I position provides administrative duties by answering telephone inquiries, sending and receiving e-mail messages, distributing information, facilitating requests for computer security access, coordinating meetings and appointments, ordering supplies, receiving deliveries, greeting and screening visitors for entry into secured areas, performing data entry, maintaining databases and filing systems.
The position is also responsible for dispatching emergency repair crews, related to traffic signal and sign repairs. The administrative Assistant I is also an essential position and may be required to report during periods of inclement weather to assist with FEMA reports while collecting information regarding ongoing repair needs.
