Job description:This position is accountable for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and corporate values that assist in shaping a positive organizational culture. Manages compensation, job evaluation, employee incentives and salary administration process, recruitment/retention process, benefits programs all which enable the company to attract, motivate and retain high caliber employees. This position will also assist the President/EVP of Trexis in all areas of the operations for the Human Resources department and the overall organization.

Duties:
  •  Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategies and corporate values. Promotes corporate values that shapes a positive culture within the Trexis Operations. Acts as a key business partner to all levels of management to assist in building employee engagement that fosters a strong organizational culture in connection with playing a critical role in nurturing a positive work environment. 
  • Manage, develop and monitor all Human Resources strategies to ensure alignment across the Trexis organization and provides a positive impact regarding Compensation, Recruitment, Benefit programs, EEO compliance, Litigation, Policy and Procedures, Worker’s Compensation and Employee Relations issues.
  • Manages the compensation administration, including advising managers about reasonable increases, promotions, transfers, internal equity and making sure our salaries remain competitive. Includes assisting Senior Management with annual merit increase budgets. 
  • Manages all recruiting, talent management and interviewing for open positions within Trexis and provides support in developing recruitment strategies to attract qualified talent. Including the retention process of 30/90 (plus) day follow up for the employee retention interview process and provides feedback as necessary.
  • Manages and develops all termination processing and conducts exit interviews. Provides management feedback on employee comments/suggestions.
  •  Manage the Human Resources Team for Trexis and assist in the overall Budgeting Process for the Trexis Operations. Provides leadership and guidance to the HR team for development in the areas such as compensation, benefits, recruitment/retention, payroll processing, temporaries and all related invoice reconciliation and payments, personnel files, company culture and educational training that provides value to the organization. Oversees the coordination of employee activities throughout the year. Manages the overall HR departmental budget and sets expectations and objectives for the Team. Assists with the annual budgeting process for the remainder of the Trexis Operations and assist managers in staffing budget. 
  • Acts as consultant to all managers on disciplinary issues, general employee relations issues and provides guidance in bridging manager/employee relationships by addressing issues and providing solutions. Plays a vital role in investigation of employee complaints and seeks resolutions. Acts as consultant to employee workforce across multiple work sites and assists in problem-solving as needed. 
  • Manages special projects throughout the year and maintains value driven results that positively impacts the operations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • A BA or BS degree in with emphasis in Human Resources and/or Business Administration
  • Eight years of experience in all areas of human resources (including 5 years demonstrated Leadership experience). 
  • SHRM Certification 
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills and Excellent platform skills. 
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office 365, spreadsheet experience.
  • HR software experience preferred.

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8-hour day shift
