Cipriani is Hiring a Production Sales Manager Near New York, NY
Pay Rate: $80k-$90kRole and Responsibilities:The role of Production Sales Manager at Casa Cipriani at 10 South Street is to oversee all facets of Production and the Production Team through coordination with Technical Direction and Production Administration. The Production Sales Manager is the client facing salesperson for the venue and the venue lead for production staff in achieving excellence in costing and sales process, as well as production advance and execution of events.The Production Sales Manager process will include:
- Meeting with client(s).
- Evaluating production needs.
- Pricing production costs in coordination with Technical Director and Heads of Departments including:
- Head of Audio
- Head of Video and Staging
- Lighting Director
- Head of Rigging
- Any other applicable production needs and/or departments.
- Evaluating information and costing in order to compose Production Proposals incorporating all applicable information regarding labor, gear, advance work, administrative costs and taxes in, compiled for both client and crew in a Production Services Proposal.
- Post event analysis and support with Postmortem documentation, striving always to be better for the following event and/or following year with the repeat client.
- Continued client communication if and when necessary for the purposes of business development, relationship management and excellence in service.
- Interface with clientele.
- Ensure luxury sales etiquette in presentation, dress, language – both written and spoken.
- Coordination and partnership with Banquet Directors and Management at Casa Cipriani.
- Evaluation of client needs for production associated with event offering what is best, most cost-effective and achievable, serving both the client and the Cipriani brand.
- Responsible for daily activities and goals for the Technical Director and Production Administrator for the venue.
- Coordination with Technical Director to cost, advance and staff events.
- Coordination with Production Administrator to assist with invoicing, event contracts, content and event coordination.
- Critical analysis of costing associate with labor, gear, company overhead and venue operations.
- Creatively problem solve and value engineer event requirements to meet client schedule and budget.
- Answering emails, calls and requests in a timely fashion. Clients shall receive responses within a 24-hour period from either Production Sales Manager or Production Administrator.
- Supervise and manage goals of production team.
- Assistance in cost analysis of pre-sale, post-sale and post-mortem reporting.
- Ensure quality assurance throughout the production process.
- Be onsite at the venue for office hours, staff collaboration, client walk-throughs and other applicable responsibilities.
- Maintain current knowledge on market and industry trends.
- Adherence to quality and standards of Cipriani Hospitality and Great Hall Entertainment, with special focus and adherence to the unique brand and elevated luxury of Casa Cipriani.
