Chicken Salad Chick is Hiring a HR Manager Near Atlanta, GA

Essential Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of project initiatives for Benefits, Compensation, HRIS and Recruiting. Ensure activities are consistent with established standards and review performance against committed schedules and budgets.
  • Direct the development and implementation of the talent resourcing strategy and ensure all outreach uses the employment brand in accordance with the brand guidelines.
  • Responsible for full lifecycle recruiting for Corporate Team, including sourcing, screening, behavioral interviewing, candidate preparation, hiring manager debriefs, offer management, and all necessary documentation.
  • Support leadership and hiring managers by providing guidance on developing staffing plans and annual talent acquisition budget.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities, systems and reporting are compliant with all current employment legislation and mitigate risk of litigation by ensuring fair recruiting practices are followed.
  • Ensure our policies, processes and systems support outstanding onboarding experience for our new hires.
  • Focus on continuous improvement in all activities, driving more efficient processes, better results and/or a more branded experience.
  • Direct the development and delivery of the strategic plan for the organization’s Resourcing, Recruitment & Talent Acquisition, Compensation and HRIS.
  • Contribute to the identification, use and maintenance of recruitment tools including traditional, mobile and social media
  • Ensure that all payroll and HRIS/Payroll transactions are processed and reported in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Direct decisions regarding vendor relations and ensures service level agreements are established.
  • Manage effective integration of interfaces and ancillary systems.
  • Ensure compliance of Sarbanes-Oxley financial reports.
  • Monitor payroll processing vendor performance to ensure quality and value of services delivered. Acts as the day-to-day contact point for all vendor corrections, plan/program changes, special requests and on-going audits.
  • Oversee the collection, validation and transmission of all time/attendance systems. Ensure timely resolution of all data collection, employee pay and/or no-polling errors.
  • Ensure management of HRIS data that provides all necessary business reports, statistics and compliance reports as scheduled and requested.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and/or local regulations and reporting-related payroll/HRIS processes.
  • Provides insight on the processes for vendor-provided documents and reports in order to validate invoices, track trends, service metrics and other statistical data against services provided.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong expertise and experience leading a team of human resource professionals in recruiting, compensation, HRIS, benefits and general practices.
  • Experience developing the skill sets and knowledge of direct reports.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage projects through organizing, planning and executing large scale projects from conception to implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and executive presence skills demonstrating the ability to influence and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of presenting information internally and externally, representing the Company to potential internal and external candidates, negotiating positive outcomes and establishing rapport and influence with others.
  • Excellent skills and proven track record in fostering a strong collaborative work environment; proven ability to partner with operations and non-HR functions to understand, influence and respond to overall business priorities.
  • Proven ability to assist with the design and delivery of strategic plans within an organization to build current and future competitiveness.
  • Demonstrated understanding of processes and procedures in related environment and demonstrated proficiency to recognize the inhibitors of successful change.
  • Demonstrated understanding of all product and service needs and must maintain knowledge of changing technologies, products or service providers; knowledge and experience in integrating various technologies, temporary and contract staffing services, employment practices, and internet recruiting.
  • Previous experience with a wide variety of sourcing vehicles; internet sourcing and mining, advertising, direct sourcing, social outreach, employee referral programs, outplacement firms, etc.
  • Previous experience working in a decentralized organization, supporting recruiting activities across multiple locations.
  • Experience building and using metrics and analyzing data against business strategy and make recommendations.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems required; ability to quickly learn and master new computer software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel and Outlook.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of work or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience; Master’s Degree a plus.
  • 10 years of related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines, technologies, and processes related to the position as well as managing teams and/or significant complex projects.
  • Strong Human Resources background and experience; previous experience working in a high volume, multi-location organization preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including papers, boxes and/or computer equipment.
