ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies and disposing of empty bottles and trash.
- Ensure that all glassware and utensils are polished and readily available for service.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Collaborate with bartenders and other team members to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold the highest standards of hospitality.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a barback in upscale casual restaurants/bar in New York
- Personable, positive, hospitable with a sharp sense of urgency while creating a warm & welcoming experience for guests
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume space
- Attention to detail, and a great team player
