POSITION: AP Specialist

COMPENSATION: $33.00 - $36.00/Hour DOE

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION : Under the supervision of the Accounting Department, the Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for entering and reviewing payables for all the properties and the main office, performing past due invoice research, invoice tracking and vendor management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required knowledge, skills & abilities:

• High School Diploma.
• Yardi experience highly desired.
• Accounts payable and finance experience.
• Knowledge of MS office, emphasis in excel.
• Must be flexible in attitude and work schedule.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; demonstrate the ability to be self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

The following duties are normal for this position, but this list is not to be deemed all-encompassing. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Process invoices Yardi in an accurate and timely manner.
• Verify expense reports.
• Correspond with vendors regarding billing and payments.
• Provide accounts payable assistance and support to accounting personnel, and site staff.
• Perform other administrative duties as requested by the Accounting Department.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

• Computer use
• Sitting at the desk for extended periods of time.
• The ability to lift/ move/ carry up to and including 50 pounds.
