Central Point Psychiatry is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Las Vegas, NV
We are looking for an intelligent and highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our caring team. The right candidate will have a love of learning, an understanding of the importance of patient advocacy and strong interpersonal skills. The Medical Assistant will work closely with physicians and attend to patients' medical needs by performing a variety of tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications and documenting patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and retrieve information in computer.
- Communicate with patients, families, and physicians.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to patients' needs.
- Document medical information.
- File medical records.
- Compose correspondence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 84 per week
Medical specialties:

- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
