- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients
- Collect and update patient information in electronic medical records systems (Elation, GMed, Epic)
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Manage and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient appointments
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage
- Handle billing and payment transactions accurately

- Previous experience working in a medical office or dental receptionist role preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional patient service
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems (e.g., Elation, GMed, Epic)
- Knowledge of medical administrative support systems and procedures
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA regulations
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
Salary will be based on experience. Bonuses are provided regularly based on company productivity and merit.
