Cassiday Schade has an immediate opening for a Technology Support Specialist in our Chicago office. Primary duties include end user support of firm application software, computer hardware and peripherals.
Previous hands-on experience in an IT role and at a law firm is preferred, but we will consider recent college graduates with a BS degree in Computer Science/Information Technology who are eager to learn.
Duties will include diagnosing, resolving issues with desktop and laptop hardware, software applications, mobile devices, printers, and video conference equipment. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system (desktop and server), Microsoft Office and working knowledge of networking technology. Experience with law firm applications, customer service, networking, or security experience a plus.
Candidate must be customer service-oriented and can multitask and prioritize requests to complete same in a timely manner. We require a detail-oriented individual who is organized in their approach to their work. The small size of the IT Department allows for flexibility, cross-training, and growth for the right candidate. We are amid a technological transformation and have several major initiatives in process. This is a great opportunity to learn about all areas of technology, from support and IT operations to applications, desktop, network, and security engineering.
