PURPOSE:
Delivers process support and serves as a technical resource in complex process development, troubleshooting, process optimization, and scaling up initiatives responsible to manage and maintain the ITAM technology tools focused on Opentext Universal Discovery (UD) process and Configuration management System (CMS (formerly Universal Configuration Management Database (uCMDB)). This includes system documentation and training initiatives. Additional tools used to manage the IT inventory are Flexera Technopdia Data Platform and Opentext Servie Management Automation X (SMAX formerly Micro Focus) software. . Creates baseline process maps, identifies inefficiencies, and re-designs and re-imagines the process to deliver superior customer experiences.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide on-site systems support services for processes around technical management and administration for Universal Discovery, CMS and Technopedia including all areas of configuration, all applicable interfaces, and patch management for the products.
• Acts as a process owner and designs, implements and optimizes processes for IT Asset management, integrations, and IT asset inventory management.
• Operationalize and maintain routine operating processes.
• Performs validation activities on existing and new processes.
• Collects and analyzes data from existing processes and identifies improvement strategies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Position does not have direct reports but is expected to assist in guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. May lead a team of matrixed resources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 5 years relevant process engineering experience or demonstrated ability to perform the functions at the level required.

• Knowledge of process engineering methods and evaluation criteria.
• Knowledge of process improvement techniques.
• Knowledge of process mapping and documentation techniques.
• Ability to work with data and analytics.
• Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.

Salary Range: $78,840 - $156,585
