GenesisConsulting has an upcoming opportunity for an experienced, forward thinking seniorlevel SAP Business Process Lead with a passion for growth and businesstransformation. We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior SAPBusiness Process Lead with Federal SAP Experience to join our team, workingclosely with a Federal Government Client. As the Senior SAP Business ProcessLead, you will be responsible for leading the analysis, design, andoptimization of business processes within the SAP ecosystem, ensuring alignmentwith the client's strategic objectives and compliance with federal regulations.This critical role requires a deep understanding of SAP modules, strongbusiness acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholdersacross various levels.

 

Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the FederalGovernment Client's business users and stakeholders to understand theirrequirements, identify pain points, and assess opportunities for processimprovement and automation within the SAP landscape.
  • Demonstrate a strongunderstanding of federal government processes and regulations, such asfinancial management, procurement, human resources, logistics, and compliance.Provide guidance on how to leverage SAP functionalities to meet theserequirements effectively.
  • Lead the design and optimizationof SAP S/4HNANA business processes, ensuring alignment with industry bestpractices, federal mandates, and the client's business objectives. Identifyopportunities for standardization, streamlining, and automation.
  • Plan and lead functional teamand design, configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Lead Fit-to-standard solutiondesign sessions and drive understanding ofthe gaps and mitigation options
  • Lead Configuration of SAP S/4HANAmodules processes across all functional domains (FI, FM, GL, AP, AR, GM, Procurement,etc).
  • Collaborate withcross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and systemadministrators, to implement SAP solutions that address the client's businessprocess requirements. Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgetconstraints, and quality standards.
  • Develop and execute changemanagement strategies to drive user adoption and minimize resistance during theimplementation of new business processes. Provide training and support toend-users to ensure successful transition and ongoing system utilization.
  • Ensure that the SAP solutionsimplemented align with federal government regulations, including data privacy,security, and accessibility standards. Collaborate with IT security teams tomitigate risks and address vulnerabilities.
  • Build and maintain strongrelationships with key stakeholders, including federal government officials,project sponsors, and business users. Engage in regular communication toprovide updates, manage expectations, and address concerns or issues.
  • Stay abreast of the latest SAPfunctionalities, industry trends, and federal regulations related to businessprocesses. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, andoptimization within the SAP ecosystem.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • Extensive experience (8 years)as a Business Process Lead or Consultant in SAP implementations, specificallywithin the Federal Government domain at a Federal Client, DOD or DHS experienceis preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP modulesrelevant to federal government processes, such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAPFunds Management, SAP Procurement, SAP HR, and SAP Workflow.
  • Strong understanding of federalgovernment regulations, compliance standards, and reporting requirements andexperience working in a Federal Environment with a Federal Client.
  • Proven experience in leadingbusiness process analysis, design, and optimization initiatives within SAPimplementations.
  • Strong business acumen and theability to translate business requirements into efficient and effective SAPsolutions.
  • Excellent analytical,problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication andstakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively withdiverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or arelated field.

Required Certifications:

  • Certification in relevant SAPmodules or business process methodologies (e.g., SAP Certified ApplicationAssociate) is highly desirable.
  • SAP, SAFe, CSM certificationsdesired

Other:

  • Must be US Citizen
  • Must have Secret clearance orAbility to Obtain it
  • Willingness to work on-site andremotely in the DC/MD/VA area
