GenesisConsulting has an upcoming opportunity for an experienced, forward thinking SAPOCM Lead with a passion for growth and business transformation. We are seekingan experienced and results-oriented Senior SAP Organizational Change Management(OCM) Lead with Federal Experience on an SAP Implementation Project to join ourteam, working closely with a Federal Government Client. As the Senior SAP OCMLead, you will be responsible for leading the organizational change managementefforts associated with SAP implementations within the federal governmentsector. This critical role requires a deep understanding of change managementprinciples, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive successfuladoption and utilization of SAP solutions.

 

Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Develop and implement acomprehensive change management strategy and plan that aligns with the federalgovernment's SAP implementation project. Define change management objectives,activities, and timelines to ensure successful user adoption and integration ofSAP solutions.
  • Demonstrate a strongunderstanding of federal government processes, regulations, compliancestandards, and reporting requirements relevant to SAP implementations. Applychange management principles within the federal government context to facilitatesmooth transitions and compliance.
  • Identify and analyze keystakeholders, both internal and external to the Federal Government Client, whowill be impacted by the SAP implementation. Develop tailored communication andengagement plans to ensure stakeholders are informed, engaged, and supportivethroughout the change process.
  • Assess the impact of SAPimplementations on business processes, job roles, and organizationalstructures. Identify potential risks, challenges, and resistance to change.Develop mitigation strategies and change management interventions to addressidentified impacts and risks.
  • Develop and executecommunication plans to effectively disseminate information about the SAPimplementation, its benefits, and the change process. Design and delivercomprehensive training programs to equip users with the necessary knowledge andskills to effectively use SAP solutions.
  • Develop strategies to measureand assess the readiness of users for change. Monitor and track the adoptionand utilization of SAP solutions, identifying areas of resistance or gaps inuser engagement. Develop and implement interventions to promote user acceptanceand adoption.
  • Identify and engage changechampions within the organization to support the change process. Build anetwork of influencers and advocates who can drive and reinforce the desiredchanges. Provide guidance and support to change champions in their roles.
  • Establish change managementgovernance structures, such as steering committees or change management boards,to oversee and guide the change management process. Ensure alignment betweenthe project team, stakeholders, and change management activities.
  • Define key performanceindicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of change management efforts.Collect and analyze data to evaluate the impact of change managementinterventions and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry bestpractices, trends, and innovations in change management. Identify opportunitiesto enhance change management methodologies, tools, and approaches for futureSAP implementations within the federal government.

Requirements

MinimumQualifications/Experience:

  • Extensive experience (8 years)as an Organizational Change Management Lead in SAP implementation projects, specificallywithin the Federal Government domain, at a Federal Client. DOD or DHSexperience is preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of changemanagement principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of federalgovernment regulations, compliance standards, and reporting requirementsrelated to SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Proven experience in leadingchange management efforts in large-scale SAP projects, including stakeholderanalysis, communication planning, training, and adoption strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and teammanagement skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teamsand influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional communication,presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage andinfluence diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership and governmentofficials.
  • Analytical mindset with theability to assess change impacts, identify risks, and develop effectivemitigation strategies.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Certifications:

  • Certification in changemanagement (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is highly desirable.
  • Certification is AgileMethodology or SAFe is preferred.

  • Must be US Citizen
  • Must have Active DoD Secretclearance or Ability to Obtain it
  • Willingness to work on-site and remotely in the DC/MD/VA area
