Highly successful Northwest Houston Distributor is adding an Accounts Payable Associate to their team to be responsible for the accurate and timely handling of invoices and payments. Must have 1 year of recent full cycle AP experience and be willing to learn. Also, must have experience working within Adobe to create, edit and convert.

Position Responsibilities:

· Assembles, verifies, and posts invoices for payment

· Assembles wire information for payment

· Prepare all documents for the CEO semi-monthly payables review

· Clarifies invoice items, prices and obtains all information and data for invoice payment

· Maintains copies of invoices and correspondence for files

· Communicates with vendors to resolve discrepancies and reconciles factory monthly statements

· Prepares monthly Factory F/X Rebate summarizes as required

· Prepares reports as needed for company leadership

· Interfaces with all corporate department managers

· Analyzes quarterly post-import entry records for accuracy versus the ACE report

· Prepares comparative vendor expense analyses as requested

· Provides audit documentation and schedules as requested

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Intermediate Excel skills

Qualifications:

· Minimum 1-year full cycle Accounts Payable experience

· ERP experience preferred, must have some accounting software experience

· Experience creating, editing and converting in Adobe a must

· Excel skills through intermediate level

· Utilizes sound judgment, professionalism, and malleability to meet evolving deadlines and deliverables
