We are lookng for a knowledgable Accounts Payable Clerk to work closely with NASA!

Work Schedule

· 9/80 Schedule: Monday – Thurs 9 hours days, Fridays 8 hour days, with every other Friday as a flex Friday

Standard Performance Expectations:

· Perform work within deadlines with or without direct supervision

· Interact professionally with other employees

· Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees.

Purpose of this Position:

Will perform assigned accounting duties as a PAE employee onsite at the NASA Johnson Space Center.

Tasks:

· A/R Including issues invoices, posting invoices

· Accruals

· Bank and Credit Card reconciliations

· Journal Entries

· Process expense reports

· Develop spreadsheets for account analysis and journal entries in order to keep records organized and standardized.

· Filing

· Month-end closing

· Periodic audits

· PO/Contracts/Subcontracts

· Other accounting tasks as assigned

· This person will work closely with Accounting Clerks and Business Manager during year end close and year-end audit.

Requirements:

· Basic computer skills

· Prior knowledge of Maximo or Deltek Costpoint a plus

· Must be able to provide US Citizenship

· Clean, neat, and professional personal appearance

· Must have, and maintain, a valid driver’s license

· Must have the ability to communicate the English language both verbally and written in an effective manner.

· Basic understanding of Business Math

· Good Understanding of GL Accounting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
