Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Job Function: Supports the overall marketing and communication efforts for the organization with emphasis in content coordination, social media planning and execution. This role ensures the quality and effectiveness of the department’s efforts, tracks initiative outcomes and works closely to support the Content and Communications Manager for optimal internal and external client service. In collaboration with others, responsible for refining and evolving our social media presence and providing internal and external communication and event support. The role requires a strong writing skill set and multi-channel campaign coordination experience. The ability to interpret performance from analytics and identify trends in the industry and monitor competitors. The position works closely with all members of the Marketing and Communications department to develop innovative marketing strategies, enhance brand engagements and deliver exceptional service to internal partners, stakeholders and bank customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Content coordination across channels, tracking and reporting
  • Strategize, initiate, create, coordinate and execute social media (including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs, and new developing social media sites as determined to strategically support company goals) to stimulate traffic that supports increased engagement, marketing goals and strategy.
  • Internal trainer for LinkedIn Optimization & Usage.
  • Pitch new, innovative social concepts, campaigns, giveaways and ideas
  • Assist with a range of marketing programs including podcast production, multi-channel campaigns, billboards, experiential events for clients and associates as well as internal/external communication projects.
  • Work closely with compliance to document, obtain and track approval on content presence and posts. Draft, and answer DMs and comments for social media.
  • Use analytic tools to track growth and success across social channels and manage regular reporting
  • Continually monitor the social media landscape and related trends through webinars, research, blogging, etc.
  • Support internal and external events under the guidance of the event coordinator.

 Job Qualifications/Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Communications or related field
  • Preferred experience with corporate social media and paid social.
  • Experience creating content and developing marketing campaigns geared toward different audiences
  • Strong writing, proofing and editing skills
  • Ability to adapt to the style, tonality and vernacular of the organization
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks at one time from start to finish
  • Preferred experience with videography and photography editing, shooting and uploading
  • Advanced knowledge of social analytics tools
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions within authority
  • Highest regard for client relationship and internal support needs
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills
  • Willingness to alter workflow with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Superior communications skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels of the organization
  • Exhibits a high degree of professionalism
  • Maintain high degree of confidentiality and integrity
  • Excellent follow through and time management skills

Eligible for Remote work- After 90 days can be eligible to work remote two days per week upon managers approval.
