Job Description SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks AR/AP, including but not limited to:
Summary of Essential Job Functions:
- AP Invoices entries.
- Vendors Statements review.
- New Vendor Setups/ new branch vendor setup.
- Vendor maintenance.
- AP Filing.
- Check Run duties-pulling invoices, mailing out payment, making CC payments, credit memos.
- PO Invoices entries.
- Exemption Certs and Business License Renewals.
- Checks Bank for AP ACH Transactions.
- Other AP duties as assigned.
- Annual 1099 NEC / MISC Filing
- Tool Box Talks.
- Adobe Licensing
- Office duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge Sage a plus
- 2 years of proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Well organized
- Ability to perform filing and recordkeeping skills
