JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior iOS Developer / Developer Lead to join our team. As a Senior iOS Developer, you will take on a leadership role, leveraging your extensive experience in iOS development and guiding a team of junior developers. In addition to the requirements of an iOS Developer, we are looking for someone with over 7 years of experience who can mentor junior team members, review pull requests, collaborate with solution architects, and actively participate in requirement analysis and technical design sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of junior iOS developers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
• Collaborate with solution architects to define API implementation details and ensure seamless integration with the iOS applications.
• Actively participate in requirement refinement sessions, analyzing business needs, and contributing to technical design discussions.
• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using SwiftUI, Combine, and other relevant iOS frameworks.
• Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and alignment with project requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization to deliver robust and high-performance iOS applications.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in iOS development, tools, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
• Act as a technical point of contact for the iOS team, collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing effective solutions.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical concepts, project updates, and ideas.
• Experience with GraphQL, App Sync, or other AWS technologies such as Lambda, CloudWatch, and Kibana is a plus.
• Manage releases to the App Store, ensuring compliance with guidelines, and overseeing the submission process.
• Utilize New Relic or similar monitoring tools to monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as an iOS Developer, with a focus on SwiftUI and Combine.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring junior developers, providing technical guidance and fostering their growth.
• Strong understanding of iOS app architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Swift, Xcode, and relevant iOS development tools and frameworks.
• Experience in reviewing pull requests and ensuring code quality through constructive feedback.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with solution architects on API implementation details and integration with iOS applications.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-driven, and able to take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and propose optimal technical solutions.
• Experience in participating in requirement refinement and technical design sessions.
