We are seeking a dynamic Development Director to help us grow as we work to restore hope to youth in crisis by providing pathways to a thriving adulthood by providing under-resourced youth with character development, life skills, mental health training, job readiness and more.

Position Summary:

The Development Director reports to the Executive Director and provides overall leadership for fundraising and development programs including major gift fundraising, annual gift fundraising, corporate/foundation gifts and sponsorships, prospect research, special events and any related database management. The Director of Development works closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and the Four Corners Team to develop both long-term and immediate strategies and programs for the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of constituents in all matters pertaining to financial support of the mission and vision of Four Corners Group. Development efforts currently focused in Cobb County, with eventual goal to expand to other metro Atlanta areas.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Research, cultivate and garner corporate sponsorships and major gifts, and ensure deliverables are given to sponsors/donors
• Identify and recruit sponsors for any Four Corners Group fundraising events and program events (Annual Gala, Program Graduations, etc)
• Assist in the planning and execution of major fundraising events in partnership with FCG Team/Contracted Event Planners
• Work with Four Corners Group Team to create, refine, and/or implement donor and sponsor collateral
• Maintain concise, accurate and transferable records of all donor/sponsor communication and information and coordinate with CFO/ED on financial details
• Attend relevant community, networking or professional events with Executive Director and/or Four Corners Team to promote the work of Four Corners Group and raise awareness for the cause
• Contribute written content for FCG Newsletters or other promotional communications on a regular basis
• Work with FCG Grant Organization (Cay Communications) to assist in various grant applications
• Periodically attend Four Corners Group student programming events to keep a pulse on the vision & mission
• Attend any regularly scheduled Four Corners Group team meetings or events relevant to the position

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years experience in Development/Fundraising work in the nonprofit space
• Experience in development-related CRM (Bloomerang, Donor Perfect, Little Green Light, etc) desired
• Proven track record of garnering major donors/sponsors for other organizations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and self-starter with ability to independently drive relationships and results
• Support and belief in the vision and mission of Four Corners Group
• Demonstration of the values of Four Corners Group: Integrity, Excellence, Urgency, Collaboration, Make It Better

Hours and Compensation

• Full time, range of 32-40 hours per week depending on capacity
• $43,000 - $45,800
