Position Intro:
The Sales Analytics Manager will lead the sales analytics team in reporting on the health of Capcom USA’s digital and physical sales business and developing data-driven recommendations and strategies to achieve business growth and enhance decision-making processes. This position will work closely with Capcom USA Sales leadership to analyze data, develop accurate sales forecasts, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve overall sales performance. This role requires strong sales analytics/forecasting skills, leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities, and the ability to communicate data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Manages Sales Analysts
Responsibilities:
  • Team leadership: provide guidance and mentorship to sales analysts.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to understand business objectives, align sales metrics with strategic goals, and identify areas for improvement in sales strategies. Define and track performance metrics for Sales teams. Provide recommendations to optimize sales strategies and promotion planning based on performance metrics.
  • Work with sales analytics team to develop and maintain sales forecasts, analyze sales performance, conduct risk analysis, deliver daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly reports, and present analysis and insights to Sales leadership and Executive Management. Establish and document best practices and efficiencies for sales reporting and forecasting.
  • Use advanced analytics techniques to analyze sales data and identify key trends, patterns, and actionable insights to solve complex business problems and increase revenue.
  • Create clear and insightful data visualizations, including reports and dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify and lead projects focused on improving forecasting accuracy, optimizing sales reporting and process, and designing and delivering self-service analytics solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams, primarily Digital Sales, Retail Sales, and Finance.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for strategic initiatives.
  • Assist Director, Business Operations on other duties as needed.

Required Experience & Skills:
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and business recommendations.
  • Advanced knowledge in digital/physical sales analytics and sales forecasting. Experience with video games sales analytics a plus.
  • Proficient in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization. Advanced knowledge in Excel.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with staff of all levels and divisions, including executive management.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize initiatives effectively, and learn new skill sets and data tools quickly.
  • People management experience, especially in sales or data analytics.
  • Strong project management skills, ideally in analytics.
  • Strong interest in console/PC video games.
Nice to have:
  • Experience with data/BI tools such as Tableau, Hyperion, and Vanguard a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Japanese a plus.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in sales analytics, business analysis, strategy, operations, finance, or related functional area, preferably in the video game industry, plus 2 or more years of management experience.

Salary Range:
$100,000 – $125,000 *Compensation for this position will be determined based on relevant factors including, but not limited to, experience and qualification.
