As a Quant Analytics Manager in the Audience Management group you will partner with business to create audiences for Marketing & Servicing communications through multiple channels including owned, paid media and non-digital campaigns. We support acquisition and engagement across credit card, Auto, Retail, Home Lending, wealth management and payments. You'll need to be highly proficient in business analysis, data processing and data engineering to be successful. You'll leverage your documentation skills to gather business requirements and specifications that will capture the overall flow and details of the initiative. You are comfortable working independently through complex business problems. A thorough understanding of legacy First Republic customer data will be required . 

Job responsibilities

• Utilize data tools to define, size, and execute on audiences
• Collaborate with business partners by leveraging analytics and data insights to improve campaign performance
• Develop and manage customer attributes and research new data elements for insights 
• Produce data validations on campaign populations to ensure marketing requirements are met
• Ensure the accuracy of the audiences prior to execution
• Identify correlations and trends in data and communicate impacts that could affect results of the campaign
• Participate in quality code reviews and identify issues and errors for correction or improvement
• Recognize and implement ideas for global process improvements to increase department efficiency
• Represent the Audience Management area in technical meetings with IT and other areas
• Mentor new and more junior Audience Management resources

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

•  BS Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Technology Management, Statistics or Math and 2 years technical experience
• Data processing using SQL, SAS Viya, Alterx , Python, and Snowflake
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, Teradata, snowflake 
• Cloud experience –S3 bucket, Athena, AWS CLI
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to articulate the causes of issues and comfortable to proactively escalate concerns when necessary
• Good time management and ability to prioritize. 
• Plan and organize with clarity and attention to detail; quality oriented. 
• Adaptability to changing information systems environment
• Excellent verbal communication and correspondence skills including executive presentations
• Result oriented with proactive approach to resolving problems

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience with other programming languages (e.g.,VB, VBA, Java, Perl, Python, C , Unix shell scripting) is a plus
• Decision modeling, rules engines, Customer data platforms (CDP) experience is a plus, for example Sapiens, IBM ODM, Segment
• A background in Marketing operations, analytics, data science is preferred
