The Accounts Receivable and Cash Application Specialist will perform cash application and allocations in support of the organization's Health Plan accounts receivables functions.

Responsibilities

· Compile amounts received or owed to the company by Health Plans or customers.

· Perform internal allocations and cash applications.

· Input figures and supporting documentation to the accounting workbooks.

· Receive and distribute Health Plan settlements, verifying accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.

· Reconcile amounts received by comparing Health Plan settlement statements to payment records.

· Respond to inquiries from Health Plans or internal stakeholders and research and resolve concerns or discrepancies.

· Adhere to key internal controls in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley rules and regulations.

Qualifications

· Typically requires 2 to 4 years of experience.

· Knowledge of Excel pivot tables, SUMIFS and XLOOKUP formulas.
