POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Sales Development Representative will work closely with the Chief Sales Officer to support and grow the domestic and international sales network. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: ● Identifying and developing new customers, both domestic and international (US retailers, US and international nonprofits, international distributors) ● Training and mentoring existing international distributor network ● Processing customer sales opportunities and orders ● Attending trade shows/conventions in the US ● Visiting international distribution partners and customers ● Evaluating new product and market opportunities ● Collaborating with the marketing team on sales campaigns ● Preparing and presenting sales reports Requirements and skills needed for this role include: ● Salesforce experience ● US and international travel, 6 trips per year, approximately 20% travel time ● Problem solving and analytical thinking ●Ability to lead a small, diverse team
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, International Development or a related field preferred 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or international development work preferred
