Main working location to be from Buckingham's Corporate Headquarters in downtown Indianapolis. Qualified candidates must have the ability to visit construction job-sites, with occasional overnight travel required. 

Responsibilities

As Project Manager, you are responsible for the overall construction operations of one or more projects from commencement through final completion. Responsibilities includes scheduling, material and trade management, safety, job site quality control and customer care. A strong candidate is one who embraces excellent organizational and time management skills, is results-oriented and solutions-focused, while understanding the importance of transparency.

  • Oversee the planning, execution and completion of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered within scope, budget and schedule. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, Design, Preconstruction, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and making necessary adjustments to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Create and manage project schedules, monitoring progress and addressing any delays or issues that arise.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities, safety compliance and quality control.
  • Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring all work is executed according to specifications and regulations.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the safety of personnel, project assets and the project environment.
  • Communicate project updates and progress reports to Construction Leadership and key, internal stakeholders.
  • Foster positive relationships, addressing concerns and resolving conflict that arises.
