Position Purpose:

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of established deliverables by distributing work to a defined team, assigning roles and responsibilities, and adhering to deadlines. The Project Manager is accountable for reporting on key performance indicators, the on-time delivery of project and satisfaction of customer. Project Manager provides business and analytical guidance to the project team.

Competencies/Duties:

  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks.
  • Plan, develop, monitor and manage project metrics based on SOWs and executed contracts.
  • Prepare, and present Project Charter, Scorecard & Project Budget including narratives as well as graphs, tables, and other visuals necessary to present data collected/analyzed.
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the Service Line Leaders and Executive Team and escalate issues, to Service Line Leaders and Executive team as necessary, according to project work plan.
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project on-time delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Help coordinate and support internal and external project meetings with Service Line Leaders and collaborate with Service Line Leaders to manage contract deliverable timelines. 
  • Conduct cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
  • Prepare and present monthly updates to Service Line Leaders and Executive Team about strategy, adjustment and progress. 
  • Identify barriers and issues precluding the effectiveness of the program or concept relating to the project and explore solutions to overcome barriers.
  • Achieve established goals for the assigned project through collaboration and teamwork.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Requirements

Position Requirements/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet internal and client deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with people at all levels including stakeholders and management.
  • Results, people, and quality of service oriented.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
  • Solid track record of setting and meeting goals
  • Proven efficiency in the use of Project Management Tools, Microsoft Office Suite and internet 

Education, Work Experience, Licensure:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Four or more years of project management experience 
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Environment/Physical Demands:

Sedentary activities like extensive reading, and computer work are required, applicants must have the ability to sit for long periods of time. Must have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles. office equipment such as computer, fax, copiers, etc. Ability to continuously stand or walk. Ability to lift up to 10-25 pounds, occasionally.
