This role provides overall management direction for various field projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, organize and staff key field positions through regional department leaders.
- Establish project objectives within boundaries of corporate policy.
- Initiate and maintain relationship with prime client and A/E contacts to facilitate construction activities
- Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
- Represent company in project meetings and assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, rental equipment income/expense, etc) to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintain a good relationship with the client.
- Assume additional responsibilities as directed by company leaders.
- Bachelors degree in a construction related field or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience
- 7 years of experience with extensive knowledge of construction, design, finance and management
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
