Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Works alongside staff level Accounts Payable clerk with progressive oversight.
• Oversees the accounts payable cycle from vendor setup all the way through payment.
• Processing invoices and enter into accounting system.
• Reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Reconciling vendor statements; research and correct discrepancies.
• Processing weekly check runs.
• Reviewing aging reports on a regular basis; research and resolve balances.
• Design, implement, and monitor internal control processes surrounding Accounts Payable.
• Maintains vendor and contract files.
• Responsible for year-end 1099 filings.
• Other duties assigned.

• 3 years of Accounts Payable experience in a semi-automated and advanced software environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or other large ERP systems
• Advanced skills within MS Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Highly organized with keen sense of time management and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced technical skills with respect to navigating high level ERP and digital invoice archiving and approval workflow software (eg. NetSuite and Docupeak).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; to multi-task and switch gears when necessary.
• Willingness to help out in other departments when needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
