Miami’s premier construction company is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented and Sage proficient AP Specialist to joint their team and oversee all facets of invoice operations. This includes data entry and processing of invoices, credit card payments, the ability to read different types of invoices and statements, maintain accurate records, and ensure prompt vendor payments. High attention to detail is a must, as well as strong organization skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently process invoices ensuring contracts and change orders are in alignment.
- Work alongside the Financial Controller to address vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Work in conjunction with Project Accountants daily to provide all newly received invoices.
- Collaborate with Project Accountants and Project Managers for accurate invoice coding.
- Stay abreast of accounting regulations and best practices in accounts payable processes.
- Manage and maintain accurate records.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in AP or related accounting role. Construction accounting a plus.
- 1-2 years working in Sage is required.
- Strong communication skills in English. Spanish a plus.
- Multi-tasker able to efficiently meet deadlines.
- Capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Strong work ethic and high level of confidentiality.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Details:
- Office hours: 8AM-5PM. 1 hour allocated for lunch.
- Heath Insurance after 90 days.
- PTO after 90 days.
- Salary based on experience, $50,000 - $60,000 starting base salary.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
