We are a tribal, coastal, Alaskan health system and the salmon capital of the world! We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist (located out of our Anchorage office) to be responsible for providing HR support to BBAHC's leaders and their teams to help achieve the mission and goals of the organization. We offer relocation assistance, free medical/dental/vision insurance premiums, no state income taxes, and our cost of living for the past two years has been 6% and 7% of salary.

PURPOSE: Serves as primary contact to divisional team members and coordinates human resources activities including but not limited to recruitment, selection, onboarding, compensation, benefits, training, and development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field of study is preferred.
Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, and oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency with ADP or similar Human Resources Information System (HRIS) is preferred.
Certification as PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, or CCP is preferred.
We are offering up to $100K a year with no employee contribution to medical/vision/dental with health premiums (saves one $15K a year), no state income taxes, and an excellent 401K plan (as well as 32 days off a year which includes combined holidays and PTO).
Our health system services our village of Dillingham as well as 20 tribal villages in SW Alaska.
