Responsibilities
- Process capital purchase orders in Oracle Fusion
- Acquire appropriate information for vendor set up in Oracle Fusion
- Follow up on goods receipt
- Facilitate prepayment checks when required by vendor
- Manage payment process/draw for projects in Oracle Fusion
- Assist in reconciling price discrepancies with vendors and accounts payable
- Act as a resource to the facilities in obtaining information or following up on outstanding orders
- Monitor compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and company procedures
- Performs other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Education/Learning Experience:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Desired: Advanced degree in Accounting
Work Experience:
- Desired: Up to one year of accounting experience
Skills/Knowledge:
- Required: Understanding of GAAP and General Accounting; excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, Access, and related accounting software; financial reporting knowledge; internal and external audit requirements knowledge
- Desired: Understanding of SAP
Licenses/Certifications:
- Desired: CPA or CPA eligible
