Brightmont Academy is a fully accredited private K-12 school system providing one student-to-one instructor ratio instruction. Our vision is to help as many students as possible reach their full academic potential and prepare them for college and careers.

Position:

The Training Specialist is responsible for scheduling, implementing, and evaluating various training programs that support employee learning and development and align with the organization's strategic objectives.

  • Deliver quality synchronous training and coaching that motivates, evaluates, and coaches the needs of employees regarding organizational products and procedures.

  • Foster a positive collaborative culture, maintain productive working relationships with the instructional team(s), and ensure alignment with the company's mission and values.

  • Expert in answering campus questions, managing escalations, and providing consistent support.

  • Audit and close course folders to strategically collect and organize the experiential knowledge of the campus instruction to better support and reinforce the procedural requirements.

  • Organizes and maintains accurate and detailed databases, files, and records; verifies the accuracy of information; researches discrepancies and records information.

  • Create asynchronous “mini” e-learning and other instructional materials to meet the needs of the organization’s staff and support its strategic initiatives.

  • Identify future training needs and assist in creating a curriculum to facilitate that training.

  • Follow branding guidelines and standards to ensure content is professional and consistent with the organization's look and feel.

  • Exhibit integrity and the ability to act professionally, discreetly, and compliantly in all matters and with all information.

  • Awareness and respect for individual adult learning and diversity needs.

  • Must be willing to support curriculum managers during busy seasons.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education preferred Master’s or Special Education.

  • Minimum 5 years experience delivering professional development

  • Google Workspace, computer systems, and Excel sheets expertise

Demonstrated Skills:

  • Self-starter and able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Organizational solid/planning and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and high attention to detail and accuracy of information

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentation.

  • Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new things
