OverviewSENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER (NIWC):Bowhead seeks a highly skilled and motivated Senior Program Manager to lead efforts related to the design, development, integration, testing, and fielding support services for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Edge To Enterprise Engineering Support contract in Charleston, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cost, schedule, and performance of a contracted program which provides support to various customers, including Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab (MCWL), the Office of Naval Research (ONR), the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD), and various joint customers such as the US Navy, US Marine Corps, US Army, and more. Your work will encompass edge-to-enterprise engineering initiatives, enabling command and control capabilities for the Marine Corps and its mission partners.ResponsibilitiesEssential functions will include:Validating technical and financial reports, analyze metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop corrective action solutions that meet operational goals.Supervising and coordinating the multi-location workforce.Managing the workforce quality and overseeing quality delivery by holding project resources accountable to milestones and deliverables.Correcting potential or existing quality problems.Oversee and maintain the workforce's training requirements and certifications.Managing the Onboarding process of new team members.Holding daily and weekly meetings, as needed, with technical resources and document progress, risks, and issues.Establishing clear expectations for the projects with internal and external stakeholders, technical personnel, project costing, and others.Establishing regular communication patterns with the customer to include weekly calls, email summaries, updated project plans, and quarterly project reviews.Preparing and distributing executive summaries and project briefs, as needed.Communicate status updates to executive leadershipMay be responsible for business development within current customer base and/or for new customers.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business.Must have Project or Program Management Professional Certification (PMP) or Certified DAWIA Level 2 or higher in Program Management.Must have ten (10 ) or more years of experience as a program manager with responsibility for project/program financials.Must have three (3 ) years managing contracts with values of $50M Must have three (3 ) years operational experience within in a Combat Operations Center (COC), or managing integrations of COCsMust have experience managing multiple contracts for multiple federal government agencies.Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contactsPhysical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 10-20 poundsMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of timeMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodicallySECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level.
