Description

The Senior Client Services Manager is an integral role within the King & Columbus agency structure, responsible for overall account management and for leading cross-departmental communication to ensure that client deliverables are completed, exceeding expectations within established deadlines. This position will serve as the lead point-of-contact for a list of agency clients while overseeing the quality and timeliness of all client work across the agency. The CSM is center of the agency’s day-to-day operation. The CSM will also handle operational work for King & Columbus, including but not limited to client billing, expense management and oversight of the agency’s project management system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage growing account services and agency operations department for King & Columbus
  • Develop and implement any internal processes and software necessary to operate agency and to service clients in an exemplary manner
  • Oversee management of agency accounts and develop client relationships through ensuring quality deliverables, deep understanding of client’s business and needs
  • Collaborate cross-department with agency staff to ensure that client deliverables are completed to agency standards, client satisfaction and by established deadlines
  • Serve as direct account manager and day-to-day contact for a specific list of agency accounts
  • Manage daily workflows and project management through digital project management systems
  • Partner with content and creative staff to ensure content production achieves client objectives and ensure proofing and revisions are done by deadlines; including but not limited to print and digital graphic design, photography, videography, content creation and website development
  • Partner with content and creative staff to ensure agency has necessary marketing collateral, visual resources, and strategy decks to grow market share and gain new client base
  • Participate in internal ‘whiteboard sessions’ to develop strategy recommendations for clients
  • Develop high-level strategy recommendations and proposals for both prospective and current clients based on client objectives and relevant metrics
  • Schedule and lead all K&C new client onboarding in partnership with agency president
  • Participate in ongoing client meetings as needed
  • Handle client billing and billing/accounts receivable inquiries
  • Management of agency expense budget and approval of agency expenditures, including digital vendor costs
  • Partner with HR and IT departments to onboard and develop training schedules for newly hired agency staff.
  • Exhibit strong understanding of digital marketing, including platforms, capabilities, optimization strategies and performance metric
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications


Requirements, minimum education level, and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales or marketing agency experience required
  • 5 years marketing, communications or project management experience required
  • Previous work in marketing, communication, PR or media buying agencies strongly preferred
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, reliable automobile, proof of insurance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience using CRM and project management systems
  • Knowledge of marketing and agency services
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to learn other required software quickly
  • Strong work ethic and passion for the job and its opportunities

Physical Requirement, Work Environment and Travel:

Regularly required to sit for long periods of time; close eye work on computer screen; required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop; light to moderate lifting 15-30 pounds.

The worker is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes, and is sometimes subject to outside environmental conditions.

Limited in-state travel is required.
