ICC at Trident Medical Center is Hiring a Remote Program Manager II WFH

Introduction

The Program Manager II for our Intensive Care Consortium (ICC) has full responsibility of the day-to-day operational performance within their area to include revenue flow, provider credentialing and enrollment, HR, and payroll for all providers in ICC programs. Program Manager II works with on average 31- 40 providers and/or 3-5 programs.

This position is considered Work From Home and supports our South Atlantic Division with occasional travel to our facilities in Georgia & South Carolina.

Intensive Care Consortium is our intensivist group aimed at improving the quality of care for critically ill patients in the ICU. By implementing programs that provide immediate critical care for patients, ICC has been successful at reducing complication and mortality rates, lowering length of stay, and improving patient/ family satisfaction while improving operational and financial efficiency for the hospital. ICC with HCA employs over 300 physicians and 70 advanced practice providers in 50 programs with six to eight new programs opening each year. The success of the ICC program relies on strong team building strategies within the ICU, the hardwiring of best practice evidence base protocols and streamlining the delivery of hospital wide critical care services.

Job Summary and Qualifications
  • Manages onboarding process for assigned programs to include all day-to-day operations.
  • Manages provider credentialing and enrollment process; ensuring completion is done in a timely fashion to expedite revenue flow.
  • Updates and maintains all provider enrollment/credentialing files as necessary.
  • Completes all necessary steps for provider terminations to stop the enrollment process.
  • Provides effective communication with providers and Medical Staff Office personnel on a regular basis about progress and status staff privileges for individual programs.
  • Manages the development of documentation methods utilized in the onboarding process.
  • Maintains and stores documentation throughout the onboarding process through Practice Greenlight.
  • Coordinates the receipt, processing and completion of all items required for the HR onboarding process (drug screening, background checks).
  • Responsible for the completion and updating of CAQH (Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare) for all program providers.
  • Receives and processes information about proposed provider change(s) from management, regional directors and facility medical directors.
  • Facilitates and coordinates with Health Care Indemnity, Inc., to ensure coverage of professional and general liability for providers.
  • Responsible for administering provider scheduling via online scheduling platform
  • Manages the payroll process for providers ensuring all time is properly reported and schedule changes are accurately documented and completed in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinates with all Service Center departments on a regular basis to resolve outstanding items from each of the following areas: Provider Enrollment, Human Resources, Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Billing Collection Team.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health or Business Administration or related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two to three years of healthcare experience.
  • Experience in the following areas is preferred: physician practice management, support service operations; project management experience is preferred.
