Description

Bottega Louie Restaurant & Patisserie debuted in DTLA in 2009 and has since gained a legendary reputation as a world class patisserie and luxury Italian restaurant.

Satisfying our vast array of guests, depends on the united efforts of many. As a Pastry Cook, you are essential to the success of the company.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with production
  • Assembly of Pastries and desserts
  • Scaling of recipes
  • Production of ganaches, creams and mousses
  • Baking of biscuits and sponges
  • Production of marmalade
  • Production of pate au choux
  • Working with chocolate

Qualifications


We are looking for a Pastry Cookwith the following qualifications:

  • A thorough understanding of pastry fundamentals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment while maintaining quality, detail, and composure.
  • Is punctual and maintains strong time management skills
  • ability to carry out directives to the letter
  • Maintains a sense of urgency
  • Minimum one year of experience in the pastry Kitchen
  • The ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
  • Working knowledge of standard kitchen machinery, tools, and equipment.
  • Serve safe certified
  • Maintains personal hygiene and grooming standards
  • May perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs, that may be outside the scope of posted duties
