Summary
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible to build a collaborative team encompassing front desk, crisis intake and mobile crisis teams to respond to the needs of the community and linking persons in crisis to community-based care. The Licensed clinician will accompany Chicago Police personnel to the homes of persons who have been identified as high utilizers of police services in lieu of seeking appropriate care via mental health and substance use treatment providers. This position is part of a police diversion project with the goal of reducing recidivism for persons with SMI/SUD from arrest and incarceration at Cook County Jail.

QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
➢ Must hold a valid Illinois License as a Social Worker (LCSW) or Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
➢ Demonstrate knowledge and experience in crisis intervention.
➢ Demonstrate cultural competence in working with low-income disadvantaged populations.
➢ Demonstrate ability to coordinate treatment and collaborate with multiple providers.
➢ Must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral.
➢ Service oriented, empathetic, and able to interact and develop rapport with a diversified population
➢ Must pass mandatory background checks and pre-employment drug screen.
