BEACON BEHAVIORAL SUPPORT SERVICES is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Baton Rouge, LA
The Maples is a residential treatment program overseeing the treatment of various medical and mental health concerns for our teenage girls who are struggling with their mental health, including trauma, disordered eating and/or substance abuse.
Our hope at The Maples is to be a safe place that supports recovery, healing, and resilience. Our program provides stability, medication management, therapeutic relationships, connection and creativity.
REQUIREMENTS
The Administrative Assistant is an individual who:
Is at least 18 years of age
Has a high school diploma or its equivalent
Speaks, understands, reads, and writes fluent English (or American Sign Language)
Has a minimum of one year of qualifying experience in office management, or its equivalent
Has a minimum of one year of qualifying experience in the clinical field practiced by the Agency, or its equivalent.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Administrative Assistant has the following assigned responsibilities:
Overseeing all clerical functions of the Agency
Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion, especially decisions directly impacting the operations of the company.
Draft and prepare correspondence for internal announcements, board meetings, and organizations.
Screen incoming telephone calls; take and deliver accurate messages; respond to requests by gathering and providing information and referring non-routine calls to the appropriate staff.
Other tasks, as assigned.
Organize complex calendars and schedules, resolving any scheduling issues.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years of related experience required in working in an executive assistant role supporting C-Level executives.
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
Ability to be flexible in work hours as dictated by the needs of business for projects and meetings.
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function well in a high-paced environment; performs additional duties as assigned by executives.
