- Onboarding including managing background checks, drug screens, I9 management, and E-verify.
- New Employee Orientation
- Manage the exit process, including exit interviews
- HR policy creation and management, including the Employee Handbook
- Field Individual Development Plan questions from employees and supervisors
- Answer miscellaneous questions related to HR topics
- HRIS maintenance – this includes changing employee data as needed and pulling regular reports and miscellaneous requests for data as needed
- Coordinate work with an HR Coordinator
- Headcount and attrition reports
- Affirmative Action reports
- Employee Relations support
- Talent and engagement project support
- Minimum of 3 years of strong generalist experience with increasing level of responsibility
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Employee Relations
- ADP experience
- Construction or Service industry experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with all employee levels, and exhibit a respectful and professional attitude of service, with a strong sense of urgency.
- Able and willing to maintain strict confidentiality
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills and willingness to learn new systems as required
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize workload and work on multiple projects to meet deadlines
- A self-starter able to contribute to a collaborative team
