What you will be doing:
  • Onboarding including managing background checks, drug screens, I9 management, and E-verify.
  • New Employee Orientation
  • Manage the exit process, including exit interviews
  • HR policy creation and management, including the Employee Handbook
  • Field Individual Development Plan questions from employees and supervisors
  • Answer miscellaneous questions related to HR topics
  • HRIS maintenance – this includes changing employee data as needed and pulling regular reports and miscellaneous requests for data as needed
  • Coordinate work with an HR Coordinator
  • Headcount and attrition reports
  • Affirmative Action reports
  • Employee Relations support
  • Talent and engagement project support
What you need for this position:
  • Minimum of 3 years of strong generalist experience with increasing level of responsibility
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Employee Relations
  • ADP experience
  • Construction or Service industry experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with all employee levels, and exhibit a respectful and professional attitude of service, with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Able and willing to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills and willingness to learn new systems as required
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work on multiple projects to meet deadlines
  • A self-starter able to contribute to a collaborative team
