Bay City Management Company is Hiring an Office Manager Near Baltimore, MD

Overview:
Bay City Management is the Property Manager of 200 St Paul Plaza, a 28-story Class A commercial building and garage in Downtown Baltimore. We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to spearhead administrative and HR functions and deliver exceptional support and customer service to building tenants. This role reports directly to the President, and includes some administrative support for the executive leadership.

Office Management Responsibilities

  • Prepare payroll
  • Maintain filing system
  • Manage the software accounts, telephones, computers, copiers, and oversee IT support
  • Organize office space and office storage
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, like holiday outing, staff lunches, etc.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
  • Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
  • Prepare and deliver bank deposits
  • Other admin responsibilities as needed

Human Resources Responsibilities

  • Maintain and log office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately
  • Manage job postings, schedule interviews, and archive job descriptions
  • Manage onboarding of new team members, including benefits, systems training, handbook review, etc.
  • Maintain HR files and support President and Chief Building Engineer with HR activities as needed
  • Oversee annual benefits renewal

Tenant Support Responsibilities

  • Plan 3-4 tenant appreciation activities per year
  • Perform receptionist duties, greet visitors, and answer phone calls
  • Manage the scheduling and operations of the Conference Center
  • Support tenant requests by logging maintenance requests, access badge requests, and general tenant requests

Qualifications of Office Manager

  • 3-5 years of work experience in an administrative/office management role
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail
  • Positive and flexible attitude
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be proficient with ADP, Microsoft Office and Google products
  • Must have a current Notary or become one upon employment

Job Type: Full-time, in person

Pay Range: $45,000 - 50,000 annually
