We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Office Manager with exceptional organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude to join our team. As the Behavioral Health Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our clinic's success. You will oversee administrative staff, manage day-to-day office activities, and ensure the smooth operation of our behavioral health clinic in alignment with our mission and values. Your responsibilities will include:Uphold professional standards as a representative of Jewish Community ServicesOversee day-to-day management of clinic office activities, including scheduling, intakes, prior authorizations, benefits verification, and customer service.Provide leadership, education, and mentorship to administrative staff.Coordinate daily with the admin team, hold regular staff and employee supervision meetings, and monitor and approve PTO requests.Complete performance reviews, training, and address performance and ethical issues as needed.Collaborate with clinical staff and service providers to ensure optimal client care.Develop and implement clinic clerical policies and procedures.Promote customer service and positive client experience.Provide backup admin coverage when necessary.Assist with billing, payment posting, and A/R follow-up tasks.Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality of client information.Competencies:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong data reporting skills and attention to detail.Effective supervision and management abilities.Relationship management and customer service orientation.Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.Proficiency in computer skills and data entry.Experience with EMRs and EHRs is a plus.Required Education and Experience:Previous customer service experience required.Previous work experience in a behavioral health client-facing setting in an administrative capacity.Previous supervisory experience preferred.Bachelor's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related human services field may substitute for behavioral health setting experience.Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software and experience with EMRs and EHRs.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:Full-time position with occasional longer hours, evenings, and weekend work.Based out of our headquarters in Park Heights, MD, with the possibility of remote work.Travel:This position may require up to 30% travel within the region.Jewish Community Services provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.If you are a highly motivated individual with a commitment to excellent client care, strong leadership skills, and a passion for making a positive impact, we encourage you to apply for the Behavioral Health Office Manager position at Jewish Community Services .
