Job Summary:
Baumer Foods, Inc. is currently looking for an addition to our Sales Dept. We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative/Deductions Analyst to be responsible for validating deductions, providing backup support, processing brokerage and other duties as assigned in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This hourly position is based in our Metairie, LA corporate office and reports to the Customer Service Manager. The office hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Pay range offered $17.00- $18.00/ hour. Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, 401(k) with match, and a relaxed office environment.
Responsibilities:
Research customer deductions
Go into customer systems to retrieve deduction back up paperwork
Find approvals in the Company Contract System
Clear the deduction once all approvals are complete out of deduction system
Follow up with brokers and regional managers regarding issues with deduction clearing.
Backup support to Customer Service Order Desk
Process monthly brokerage payments and check requests
Process monthly deduction reports
Qualifications:
High school diploma. Associate's or Bachelors degree in a business-related area preferred.
One year of experience in office or clerical work.
Clear understanding of computers to be able to move around in other software systems and websites.
High degree of accuracy, organization, logical thought process and attention to detail.
Ability to identify and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to include Office 365.
