Badia Spices, Inc is Hiring a Logistics Assistant Near Miami, FL
- Prepare UPS, DHL, FEDEX, etc. shipping documents and schedule freight pick-ups as required.
- Assist with freight quotes and coordination of pickup and deliveries.
- Assist on booking containers for international shipments.
- Address and document damages products y/o slow movement inventories and expired lots as well.
- Coordinate daily activity to track location and movement of shipments. Provide reports as needed.
- Verify return of merchandise and inventory adjustments.
- Use software and programs for data entry and reports.
- Keep appropriate log all trucker and shipment information electronically.
- Inform to Accounting department any issues related to freight, products or matters with customers.in a daily basis
- Inspect trailers, load shipments and records according to Badia’s Policies and procedures.
- Print tags and place them as required the appropriated defined places.
- Cycle count inventory according to established guidelines and assist with developing actions
