We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic professional to join our finance team as the Assistant Director of Finance. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the overall financial success of
Baccarat Hotel New York.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.
- Generate regular financial reports for management review.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing insights and recommendations.
Cash Flow Management:
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure adequate funds are available for daily operations.
- Manage banking relationships and optimize cash management processes.
Internal Controls:
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial trends and performance.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights.
- Provide guidance and support to finance staff.
Qualifications
About you...
- Proven experience in finance management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.
- Advanced knowledgeable of payroll, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
- Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
