As a a Training Specialist, you’ll be the subject matter expert on our Fusus product, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the NYPD harnesses the full potential of our cutting-edge technology. What You’ll Do

Location: Onsite New York City, NY
Reports to: Senior Manager, Training
Direct Reports: 0

• The Training Specialist will operate as a dedicated resource expected to be on-site for NYPD and perform services 8 hours a day/5 days per week.
• Be an expert on Fūsus software solutions
• Work in conjunction with the dedicated Fūsus Team assigned to NYPD
• Support NYPD personnel to achieve training objectives for new implementations and software releases.
• Ensure NYPD personnel are successful in maximizing the use of the Fūsus platform as a mission-critical tool at all levels within the organization.
• Ensure proper documentation of work products in CRM and project management software tools.
• Ability to present results and customer feedback, including those of a technical nature, to appropriate stakeholders within the Company.

What You Bring

• 3 years of experience designing, delivering and/or managing public safety software testing, training, and/or implementation projects
• Public safety experience is a plus
• Previous experience working in a Real Time Crime Center preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Proven experience presenting material in a training environment
• Strong, professional verbal/written communication and presentation skills
• Strong leadership presence, advanced interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with teams and strategic partners to produce value and cultivate an atmosphere of trust and mutual benefit
• Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Strong team player with the ability to take initiative, work well with others and/or work well independently
• Must pass a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check and maintain confidential and highly sensitive information

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 60,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 100,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 63,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 113,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
