Description

Working under the direction of AVP QI and Training, the Training Specialist provides the required core curriculum for all Peer and non-Peer staff at The Bridge. With the goal of promoting staff development and service excellence, the Specialist also recommends and develops training for staff in the agency’s newer models of care; in response to incident trends and staff surveys and based on an appreciation for outcomes programs strive to achieve. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide required Core Curriculum trainings including scheduling, enrollment, and evaluation,
• Oversee the Learning Platform – the gateway to training for staff at The Bridge
• Develop resource directory for relevant training that is not directly conducted by the training department.
• Develop training curriculum for staff in newly developed models of care.
• In collaboration with Program Management, develop measures for tracking the impact of training on service and client outcomes. 
• Develop a version of the training curriculum for supervisory staff.
• Offer opportunities for cross-program Learning Collaboration.
• Provide Crisis Debriefings as needed agency-wide.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Organizational Development, or equivalent field.
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience in related practice setting.
• Documented excellence as a trainer and creator of educational packages.
• Clinical experience with an emphasis on trauma-informed care, recovery-based practice, and/or integrated health/behavioral healthcare.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong writing skills.
• A strong commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
