Overview: As a Project Manager, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects to completion. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span offices and time zones, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.
\nResponsibilities
- Manage coordination and communication between cross-functional team and field operations teams to ensure all dependencies are clearly identified and communicated.
- Serve as local point of contact and project operations lead for office staff, including technical coordinators, policy and quality control specialists, and field operators. Analyze work pipeline and workflow, implementing scheduling to optimize throughput and efficiency, track key performance metrics for the team.
- Increase effectiveness of staff and tools by recognizing opportunities for improvement and proactively working with operations, tools, and engineering organizations.
- Monitor, measure and communicate project progress, potential risks & delays, and team performance to program teams, leadership, and other stakeholders.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent, with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience such as managing multiple complex projects. Advanced degree a plus.
- Project Management experience – ability to define projects and execute within timelines and with multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to deliver projects on time and to budget.
- Logical thinker, with strong problem solving and analytical skills and ability to make trade-offs.
- Self-starter with ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast paced, constantly evolving team environment. Team player with exceptional interpersonal and solution oriented attitude.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make quick course corrections when necessary.
