Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and completion of IT projects within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and deliver high-quality results.
Duties:
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation to closure
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Coordinate and communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to ensure alignment
- Monitor and control project budgets, expenses, and resources
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate project risks
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, and procedures
- Oversee the implementation of IT infrastructure enhancements and upgrades
- Facilitate disaster recovery planning and testing
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word for creating project documentation
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Kanban methodology for efficient project workflow management
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure/Network components and systems
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution
- Ability to anticipate potential issues and proactively address them
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey project updates to stakeholders
- Proven track record in successful project implementation
